So today Jeff and I had our first taste of Sushi. My sister and her friends went to Happy Sumo for her birthday tonight and she really really wanted Jeff and I to come. I was so nervous to try it because raw fish just sounds yucky. But it was actually really good. We got the Vegas Roll. For those of you non sushi eaters (don't worry I used to be one) the Vegas Roll is made up of salmon, crab, avocado and cream cheese all deep fried with some sumo and eel sauce on top. The eel sauce kind of creeped me out when I first read it. But my sister who by the way is really picky is the one who recommended the Vegas Roll so I figured it had to be pretty good. It wasn't something I would eat on a regular basis but I do have to say it was pretty tasty. I could eat it every once in a while. I think it kind of grows on you. Each bite I took made me like it even more. Those of you out there that haven't tried it should.
Happy Leap Day to everyone!

BEBE Pod

So about a month ago Jeff and I researched buying Emma a little chair she can sit in. There are two brands and we found the bebe pod on sale at Wallys so we made the purchase. Our neighbors had one and said that it taught their little one to sit up so we figured it would be worth the cash. It totally is!She loves it! She can sit up like dad and enjoy all of the Jazz games she wants to. It's also nice because we can sit her on the table with it and she feels like she is part of the group. Anyone who is thinking about getting one should....for their baby I mean.

Try Everything On

So one thing I have learned since having a baby is that even if you think that it won't fit, TRY IT ON! Because man, I have missed out on...well haha I guess I mean Emma has missed out on wearing some totally cute outfits. All because I just assume that it won't fit. I have a couple of hats that when she was younger I tried on and they were huge and the other day I tried them on and they are too small!
It's so frustrating. Anyways after finding this outfit amongst her clothing I had to put it on and snap some pictures. The sweater is so cute. I am sad that she will only get to wear it a little longer. People always say they grow so fast but i never thought I would believe them. Now another matter that doesn't have a picture. Emma laughed for the first time a little over a week ago. It's sooo cute. I thought nothing would be better than seeing her smile, but i was so wrong. Her laugh makes me so happy! Every stage of her life is so great. On Monday night I sat her on the ground on her stomach and she rolled over onto her back. I feel like everyday she can do something new. It is so exciting!
